I was recently terminated (fired) from my job due to some lies that where told about me. I have really been struggling with this. The people who did this caused be tremendous pain. This book has really helped. I am trying very hard to love them and forgive them. Step 51 really spoke to me. Thanks

This is my favorite book by this author. I do have resentments...I am human. I do have a problem with forgiving...I will give the same excuse...being human. Yet I know that the logic and principle behind this book is sound. I forgive as I have been forgiven..which is much and often by my heavenly Father. Thank you for the support on that and your simple, profound advice (backed up by scripture) on forgiving, and loving those who seem unlovable at that moment. I can access compassion much easier when I remember that we are all here together and tolerance and forgiveness makes life much easier for all of us. It is good to be grateful for this insight and I appreciate the book.

This book is pretty good if a person can be a saint , but the bottom line for me is keep evil far away ! I really do agree with Lynn R Davis , on most of her 51 ways and I'm sure others will too. Meanwhile, I will pray for my enemies, forgive them , be civil , and be grateful I'm not them !

Jack and Lacey are back!

Jack and Lacey are back. We met these two in Kendra’s first book Hidden. They are at a resort scoping it out as a possible wedding venue when they find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation when a woman in a wedding dress is found floating in the resorts hot tub.

Even though this was a novella sized book we still got a good murder mystery to follow from all aspects – the interrogations to the autopsies. One thing Jack and Lacey can’t do is walk away from a murder and when they find out Jack’s old partner is the Chief of Police in the small town they decide to hang around and help solve the murder. Jack and Lacey work well together and are even closer after everything they went through in Hidden. It was great to get to revisit them again and follow them along on the investigation that has a few surprises along the way.

Once again I was drawn into the story of Jack and Lacey. I could not put this down until the book was done. I know it was a novella, I did not want it to end. It was good to see the two characters back from Hidden. Jack and Lacey are looking for a place to get married and stumble upon a dead bride. Kendra Elliot is an special type of author who can make you feel the intensity of the story as if you are there. Her knowledge of forensics also makes her stories very believable.
I can't say enough about this series but you have to read them!!

Another great story from Kendra. It was fun to see Jack & Lacey again even if it is not under the best of circumstances. Because really nothing can ruin a vacation like finding a dead body and be through head first in a murder investigation.

I am not going to give you more than that. This is a novella and I don’t want to give too much away. This novella can easily be read as a stand alone, although if you have not read book 1 you might want to read it. Jack & Lacey are from book 1 Hidden.

Very Disappointing.

I wouldn't call this book the "ultimate" anything. Based on the title, I assumed this book would be a history of the band and a complete discography or something similar, but that is not at all what it is. It is an extremely one-sided "story", being written totally from the perspective of Keith Emerson, and based completely on interviews with him (interviews probably not given at the best of times, either). The author is clearly biased and paints Greg Lake and Carl Palmer in a negative light. There is some unnecesary editorializing about both in the book. Song titles are incorrect throughout. I dearly wish I could get a refund on this purchase. It isn't even worth the $2.99 I spent on the kindle edition.
