Facts101 and Cram101 is a fraudulent company in violation of Federal Trade Commission rules (and a Class Action Lawsuit case as well). If you do an internet search you will find many complaints against this company. Victimized students should file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and report fraud (in writing) to Amazon.com's Legal Department (good luck trying to get past the Customer Service department). Facts101 and Cram101 guidebooks continue to rip off unsuspecting students. Hate them on Facebook.
I was victimized too, I paid $30.95 for Cram101 Textbook Outlines & Highlights for a college textbook by Kathleen Allen titled `Launching New Ventures'.
Cram101 (fraudulent) description claims "Never HIGHLIGHT a Book Again! Virtually all testable terms, concepts, persons, places, and events are included. Cram101 Textbook Outlines gives all of the outlines, highlights, notes for your textbook with optional online practice tests. Only Cram101 Outlines are Textbook Specific."

Unauthorized - zero stars April 22, 2012 This study guide is unauthorized by me (Bernhard Rupp, author of BMC) or the publisher and has no relation whatsoever to my book Biomolecular Crystallography. You do not need a knock-off study guide - there are key concept sections for each chapter in BMC.

Warning June 20, 2012 As the author of Sudden Death in the Young (Cambridge University Publishers, 2010) I would like to make it clear that I have had nothing to do with the Cram 101 Studyguide which contains a lot of completely unrelated and irrelevant material that does not come from my text. I am disappointed that Amazon would promote a completely plagiarized text that has been published and sold without the permission of the author or publishers.

I bought this to help study for an MBA course in Financial Reporting. The cover of the book shows "Includes all of the Highlights, Outlines and Notes for the textbook". When I ordered it, I discovered that it's just definitions of every single term in the book, with a blank page for taking notes. It could have been half the size if they had just put in definitions and left out all the blank pages!
There are no notes, no chapter summaries, no outlines, and no tests. Yes, you can go online and pay a "discounted" price to pay for online tests, and other material. There's no way I'd bother to pay for them after seeing what junk this study guide is.
Please don't waste your time on this. It's absolutely worthless.

Very deceptive, a total rip off. I feel scammed. This booklet is not a study tool, nor a resource. There are no highlights, chapter outlines or notes related to the college textbook. This booklet is nothing but a list of definitions (10-15 per chapter) on the left side of the page, and blank lines on the right side of the page for you to write down your textbook notes. (You have no choice but to highlight your actual college textbook if you want to learn anything.)
If you pay a monthly membership fee, you can take some lame practice test and waste your time with more worthless materials. They don't even offer you a free 14 day trial. Very misleading web copy - totally fraudulent.
Cram101 Textbook Outlines is a profiteering membership website that preys upon poor college students.

I purchased this book because I was anxious to have an extra study guide for my textbook, and if you look at the add it seems as though this would fill the bill. I ordered next day so I could study it right away. It is basically a blank notebook with inappropriate notes in the chapter sections that have nothing to do with the textbook. It is totally useless.. so they advertise a website Cram101.com where you can actually get practice tests, so I thought, this the catch, you buy the useless notebook, but online it will be much better. Much worse than I had expected. Tests had nothing to do with my book, or even a good review of my chapters. Absolutely a waste of money. They made me rate this order before I could preview it, but I give it 0 stars.

Why is Amazon selling this garbage? This is worse than useless; trees had to die and petroleum had to be made into ink. Basically, the book is a VERY elementary glossary (with slight permutations) repeated a dozen times. NO relation to the material in the textbook. I will never have anything to do with a Cram101 product again. Note to Amazon: PLEASE don't continue selling garbage like this book, and I use that term specifically. Have any math professor / instructor / grad student look at the textbook and then at this so-called "textbook outline" and they will confirm what I've stated. These are facts, not just my opinion. I'm completely dissatisfied with my purchase.

This book is not even remotely useful in any way. Don't waste your money. Half the book is pages of blank lines (for your own note taking), and the rest of the book is just pages of useless definitions that wouldn't help anyone taking a class where they would be using the associated book. The material in this book doesn't match the chapters in Folland's Book - Real Analysis: Modern Techniques and their Applications. Very few of the definitions that are in Folland's book are included, and no theorems or propositions are included. I would go as far as to say the producer of this book is commiting false advertisement.

This "study guide" is nothing more than a glorified empty notebook. It says "outlines" and yet it does NOT have a single outline in it. It mostly has blank lined pages for notes. It has a few "keywords" defined in the margin for each chapter, but the keywords serve no value for test taking purposes. This book is worthless trash and the publishers should be ashamed of themselves for stealing my money for it. If I could rate it below 1 star I would have.
